From July 23-28 the AHC will be hosting a group of T-28 pilots (15-20 aircraft) who will be preparing for EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh. They will begin arriving at the Sheboygan County Memorial Airport on July 23 and will be holding private clinics and training and also doing some formation flying practice.

Since the T-28 Trojan aircraft were used extensively during the Vietnam War and the Secret War in Laos, The AHC is working with our local Vietnam Veterans and members of the local Hmong community to create a temporary museum exhibit about the Vietnam War. EAA Chapter 766 is hosting a pancake breakfast on Saturday, July 26 from 8am-Noon here at the AHC. Around noon, the pilots will be doing a formation flight over the Hmong Summer festival here in Sheboygan. On the evening of the 26th, members of the Hmong community and the general public will be welcome to visit the AHC and see the aircraft on the ground. On Monday, July 28 around 1pm , the aircraft will leave our airport en masse to fly over to Oshkosh EAA AirVenture.
