If you have an interest in science, math, engineering, or aeronautics come join us for this workshop. Spend the day with women who have made aviation part of their lives either as a career, or as an excitinghobby.Anyone with the desire can learn to fly.This workshop will introduceyou to basic aviation skills with lessons in aerodynamics, flight planning and weather.There will be hands on activities, including flight simulators and a tour of the Sheboygan County Memorial Airport.Get a “behind the scenes” ride on the runways and see the VOR.Our tour will include visits to commercial and private hangars including an organization who does wildlife rescues.We’ll talk with commercial pilots, aerial photographers andpeople who build and restore vintage aircraft as well as pilots who do volunteer flights for medical appointments.
We’ll finish the day with a EAA Young Eagle flight with volunteer pilots from EAA Chapter 766.
