Drawing of Spirit of St. Louis

“The Spirit of St. Louis” is a movie which was adapted from Charles Lindbergh’s autobiography. The film was released in 1957 and follows the life and career of Lindbergh, focusing on his historic transatlantic flight. It is the story of a young Midwestern man with the dream to do something remarkable, despite the many people who believed it couldn’t be done. The story depicts not only a journey across the Atlantic, but a journey of the spirit as well.

Doors open at 6:30pm. At 6:45, a local aviation historian will give a brief presentation. Standard folding chairs are provided, but feel free to bring your own comfortable lawn chair or blanket to sit on. Refreshments will be sold including freshly popped popcorn, soda and candy bars.
