Formed in 1998 by avid aviation enthusiasts for the purpose of building an Aviation Welcome Center and Education Facility to the Sheboygan County Airport. This corporation evolved out of EAA Chapter 766, which was formed in 1982. EAA 766 has over 60 members and sponsors the annual Wings and Wheels event, proficiency landing contest and numerous fly-outs and fly-ins. The chapter has built a mock-up of the Voyager, which is on display in the EAA Museum in Oshkosh, and has an Avid Flyer. The airport and chapter are growing, thus the new welcome and education facility is needed. The passion and enthusiasm of those spearheading the project will make this project take off.
